The Zygmunt II August room
Zygmunt August (1548-1572). Grand duke of Lithuania, from 1548 king of Poland, since 1569 ruler of the united Poland-Lithuania state. Last king of the Jagiellon dynasty. During his rule a union was made in Lublin that finally united Poland and Lithuania into one country, Poland-Lithuania, with one parliament, currency and foreign policy.
