The Michal Korybut-Wisniowiecki room
Michał Korybut- Wiśniowiecki (1669-1673)- elected king of Poland and grand duke of Lithuania. At the beginning of his reign a 100 thousand strong Turkish army took Kamieniec podolski and Lwów. The war was ended by the Buczacz treatise. Later the great crown commander Jan Sobieski besieged the Turkish forces in the Chocim stronghold which he subsequently took. Michał Korybut- Wiśniowiecki died suddenly after choking on a cucumber.
