Sukiennice in Niepołomice
The museum rooms in Zamek Królewski in Niepołomice, one floor below the hotel rooms, contain the priceless art gallery moved here from the Krakow National Museum in Sukiennice. During the renovation of its main abode the 19th century Polish impressionist collection is to be found in Niepołomice . Here you can see the most famous works of artists such as Jan Matejko, Jacek Malczewski or Bronisław Abramowicz. Among more than 400 exhibited paintings are such classics as Wernyhora or Sybiracy. Apart from the paintings, the exhibition contains nearly fifty sculptures.

The Wieliczka Salt Mine
The world famous Wieliczka Salt Mine, part of the World List of Cultural and Natural Inheritance is located 10 km from Niepołomice. 3.5 out of hundreds of kilometers of underground corridors have been adapted for sightseeing. The route includes the St. Kinga chapel, the Erazm Barącz chamber and the Warsaw chamber. No one is left untouched by the grandeur of the underground chambers and the length of the corridors. Sightseeing time: at least 2 hrs.

Sightseeing
It should be remembered that Zamek Królewski is first of all a historical site, a building connected with many historical events and old stories. Sightseeing tours enable our guests to hear them all. Our professional tour guides will show you the historical sites within the castle and reveal their secrets. More is to be found in Niepołomice than just the castle. Two minutes from the Hotel, a 14th century brick church of the Ten Thousand Martyrs is available for sightseeing, also founded by king Kazimierz Wielki. Another site worth seeing in Niepołomice is the Grunwald mound. 
Its name and location is not accidental- it was made to commemorate the visit of king Władysław Jagiełło, who set out from here in 1411 with cardinals and priests to take the enemy banners to Krakow as a token of gratitude for the Grunwald victory. The sightseeing tour cannot be complete without visiting the 13th century nunnery of the Benedictine Sisters, the first one on Polish land. It was also often visited by monarch and both Church and lay authority figures, such as Bolesław Wstydliwy, queen Jadwiga, Władysław Jagiełło, Zygmunt Stary, emperor Joseph II, Franz II and Cardinal Karol Wojtyła.

Tours of Krakow, Krakow by night
HThe Zamek Królewski Hotel is located less than 25 km. from the centre of Krakow- a city full of life and history. We organise tours of Krakow available to our guests. Krakow is called the cultural capital of Poland, and not without reason. During daytime tourists are tempted by magnificent monuments, a reach theatre repertoire and a wide variety of cultural events, and at night- by the unforgettable atmosphere of many clubs. In order to supply service of the highest quality we request persons interested in this form of entertainment to notify us beforehand.
Time spent in Krakow: 3 to 6 hrs.
Carriages and sleigh rides 
The ancient forest is a perfect place for walks and horse rides. Therefore, depending on the weather, we take part in organising sleigh rides or rides in horse-drawn carriages in the Puszcza Niepołomicka forest. These rides can be combined with a camp-fire and, in the summer, with a visit to a shepherd cabin where real oscypek is made from the milk of goats grazing on nearby meadows.
Ride duration: 1.5 to 3 hrs.
Horse rides
Three minutes from the hotel you can find the riding club �Pod Żubrem�, where you can enjoy a relaxing horse ride in a special hall or on the hippodrome at the foot of the Castle. The club specialises in teaching riding to children and adults alike. Jumping and breaking-in lessons are available to more advanced riders. The club also offers hippotherapy sessions.

Sports and fitness 
At a distance of a five-minute walk from the Zamek Królewski Hotel you can find tennis courts and an indoor swimming pool. The tennis courts have a specially prepared surface which makes them available for use from early spring to late autumn. The nearby indoor swimming pool includes a full-size pool (25 by 12 metres), a recreation pool, jacuzzi, pool whip , geyser, mushroom and slide. Within the building you can also find a solarium, a spa centre, fitness classes and swimming instruction. Both the tennis courts and the swimming pool are open from 7.00 to 22.00.

Golf and minigolf 
In Ochmanów, a 10- minute drive from the Zamek Królewski Hotel, you can find the Royal Kraków Golf & Country Club golf course. The river Boguslawa adjoining the 7th and 9th link and altitude differences of up to 25 metres (82.02 ft) make the 9-hole Par 72 course a challenge to the advanced players. The course is designed to allow beginners to have ago at the 15-position Driving Range, the green and the exercise bunker. Fans of this royal sport can relax in the Club House which includes a restaurant, bar and golf shop. You will feel the exceptional atmosphere of this course while sitting at a warm fireplace with a cup of coffee, enjoying a nutritious meal and discussing your best hits or making new business contacts at the bar.
Food
You can enjoy a meal close at hand. An elegant restaurant serving exquisite Polish food can be found on the ground floor of the Niepołomice Castle. Our guests will recollect the historical interiors, professional service and unforgetable taste of food for a long time. In the summer you can also enjoy your evening in the restaurant garden in the beautiful castle courtyard. At breakfast time each guest of the hotel is also the guest of the restaurant.
